Terms of Service

Last Updated: January 1, 2025

At Cruze, we are committed to providing a safe and reliable platform for all users. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Cruze website, mobile application, and related services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering, accessing, or using Cruze, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and any additional guidelines or policies referenced herein.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Cruze.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date personal and vehicle information.
  • Users offering rides (Cruzers) must possess a valid driving license and ensure their vehicle meets the required safety standards.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Users must behave respectfully and comply with local laws during interactions facilitated by Cruze.
  • Cruze is not liable for disputes, accidents, or incidents that occur during rides. Users are encouraged to take necessary precautions for their safety.
  • Users must not use Cruze for illegal or unauthorized purposes.

4. Account and Security

  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
  • Cruze reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violating these Terms.

5. Payments, Refunds and Cancellations

  • Cruze does not sell goods, run subscriptions, or take orders or bookings of any kind. The only amounts processed through our payment gateway (Safepay) are wallet top-ups purchased by Cruzers (drivers) to cover the 15% platform commission charged on completed rides.
  • Passenger fares for ride costs (such as fuel sharing) are settled in cash directly between the passenger and the Cruzer. Cruze does not collect, hold, or process these amounts.
  • Wallet credit is added instantly on successful payment via Safepay. Commission charged from a Cruzer's wallet on a completed ride is final and non-refundable.
  • Refunds for eligible Safepay transactions are handled under our Refund Policy. Cancellation of ride requests, ride offers, top-up sessions, and accounts is handled under our Cancellation Policy.
  • Payment processing services are provided by Safepay, subject to its own terms and conditions.

6. Content Guidelines

  • Users may post content (e.g., profile pictures, reviews) on the platform.
  • Users must not upload or share content that is offensive, illegal, or infringes on the rights of others.
  • Cruze reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.

7. Safety and Liability

  • Cruze provides a platform for users to connect but does not guarantee the safety, reliability, or accuracy of user-provided information.
  • Users are encouraged to verify the identity and credibility of other users.
  • Cruze disclaims liability for any harm, loss, or damages resulting from the use of its platform.

8. Termination and Suspension

Cruze reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to its platform at its sole discretion, without notice, for violations of these Terms or for any other reason deemed necessary.

9. Changes to the Terms

Cruze may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of Cruze will be resolved under the applicable laws of Pakistan.
  • Users agree to attempt to resolve disputes amicably before pursuing legal action.
