Karachi commutes are unlike anywhere else in Pakistan. The arteries — Shahrah-e-Faisal, Rashid Minhas, II Chundrigar — move millions of people every morning, and most of them are alone in their cars. We started Cruze because the existing rideshare apps were never designed for that pattern.
What makes Cruze different
First, Cruze is built around clubs — verified communities like universities, neighbourhoods, and offices. You're not getting into a stranger's car; you're sharing a ride with someone who is verified into the same circle as you.
Second, fare settlement is in cash, paid directly between rider and driver. We don't touch passenger payments. Cruzers (drivers) only ever pay us a small 15% commission on completed rides, which they top up to their wallet via Safepay.
Who it's for
If you're a student commuting from DHA to Karachi University, or a banker driving from Clifton to II Chundrigar every morning, Cruze gives you a way to find someone going your way and split fuel honestly — without the awkwardness of cash apps or the surge pricing of black-cab platforms.
FAQs
Is Cruze available outside Karachi?
Cruze launched in Karachi and is most active there. The app works wherever there are verified clubs — and we're actively expanding to Lahore and Islamabad next.
How do passengers pay for a Cruze ride?
Passengers pay their share of fuel in cash, directly to the driver (Cruzer). Cruze does not process passenger payments. The agreed amount is shown in the app before the ride begins.
What does Cruze charge?
Cruze charges Cruzers a 15% commission on the total ride amount, deducted from their wallet after the ride is completed. Passengers pay nothing to Cruze directly.
